Back before time itself was even recorded, vampires roamed the earth, mixing among the other races of the realm. They were a peaceful group, and, for the most part, they were even helpful. However, as time passed a few "bad seeds" began to corrupt the youth of the race, leading them into paths of decadence and immorality. Stories of horrible monsters sprung up from the actions of the rebellious youths, which caused the other races of the land to fear this once noble and beautiful race. Lord Arsenic, one of the few remaining vampires to remember the race's glorious past, sought to rectify the horrible situation in which his people became entangled. Taking the Lady Druscilla as his consort they formed a society of the Elders -- Fallen Angels, whose sole purpose was to purge the evil from the race and return them to their station as the icons of grace, diginity and beauty that they had once been. Together, with the help of their faithful Coven Leaders - Roxy, Enigma, Iria, Judis and Grifter - they strive to gain companions in their crusade against evil.

Many decades have passed since the crusade had begun, the original Coven Leaders grew weak and passed their titles along to the newer generation of the Clan. Syhria, Sion and Azorak now stand strong together in unity to continue the quest to bring back the true nature of the vampire race.
